  • Make historic investments in infrastructure, including the replacement of Water Well #3, a well that was constructed in the 1940s and helps provide drinking water to Berlin
  • Complete and plan for multiple stormwater projects throughout town, including those on Pine Street, Nelson Street, Franklin Avenue, Westminster Drive, Abby Lane, and Hudson Branch
  • Upgrade wastewater infrastructure, including a $1 million investment to replace the Broad Street lift station that helps direct sewage to the Wastewater Treatment Plant
  • Begin the process for the West Street Roadway Reconstruction and Utility Upgrade project
  • Complete the strategic demolition of industrial buildings at Heron Park using a $500,000 grant
  • Install the Town of Berlin’s first municipal rooftop solar project at the Electric substation
  • Continue the transition of the Power Plant generators to Natural Gas through a $425,000 grant
  • Invest in repaving streets, improving sidewalks, striping on roadways and crosswalks, and resurfacing Stephen Decatur Park walking path
  • Conduct a town-wide housing study through a $17,000 grant to help acquire future grant funding
  • Update street signs to meet current 911 standards
  • Install new smart water meters

  • Complete projects, including the installation of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) for Electric Meters, Fiber Optic Internet, and replacement of lead water lines
